Another Synch Issue between Watch and Garmin Golf App

Hi

Yesterday, after 3 holes, I realized that scores were already recorded for the holes ahead on the watch.
Opened the Garmin Golf App and indeed, I already have score recorded for the 1st nine !?
So, on the watch, I simply went through the scorecard menu and updated the correct score for the round of the day.

After completing the round, I have saved the round.

On Garmin Golf App
1 - last week score is yesterday's round (last week round has basically been overwritten

2 - there's no game for yesterday


On Garmin/SCORCDS
There's a fit file for both last week and yesterday's round

QUESTIONS:

1- why are those synchronization error happening?
2 - Is there a way to resynch watch and Garmin Golf App?

  • Can't edit my original post so adding a follow-up as reply:

    When I try to manually import the FIT file from yesterday's missing round, I have a message "One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance."

  • Are you using the import feature through the Garmin Connect website? Try copying the .FIT file from the SCORE/SCORECARD folder to the desktop and then import if you are using the import feature. 

    If you are getting that error when attempting to sync your watch using the Garmin Express program, then try manual import copying the .FIT file matching the creation date from the missing round into connect.garmin.com once logged in. 

    There is also a possibility that the scorecard file you are trying to send has an issue with the file where it is not readable due to being incomplete or as a duplicate from a previous round that was in your account.

  • Yes, I tried through the Garmin Connect Website (PC version), once logged in, via the "Upload or Import Activity" icon.
    The file was rejected "One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance."
    This is actually the second time that an activity is not properly recorded and that the previous activity has been updated.

  • What software version is showing the app info section of the Garmin Golf app settings menu? Also what specific device do you have the Garmin Golf app installed to? 

  • The Garmin Golf App version is 2.18.1 Unity 2.18.1.1 Environment PROD

    In the App Diagnosis, I see that the Ver. release 12, Ver. SDK 31, Ver. Codename REL 

    The phone is a Samsung S10+ SM-G975F
