I don't quite understand the newly added item. Can you explain it to me?

A new item was added to the golf settings in version 17.20.

Settings → Golf Settings → Pair Rangefinder

How is this pairing used?

Z82 does have bluetooth however you are correct as it doesn’t support ANT+

Interesting, especially because the Applied Ballistics® function doesn’t seem useful for the golf app. As the Z82 doesn’t have Bluetooth or Ant+, maybe there is a new rangefinder on the horizon.…

The setting is also available on the Epix 2 (pro).

Z82 does have bluetooth however you are correct as it doesn’t support ANT+

It is there, the new Z30 rangefinder.
