My bag statistics.

I've noticed numerous people complaining about the erroneous distances that come up in the My bag menu. I think the issue is a bug with the algorithm that measures club distances. Furthermore, I've gone through all my Scoreboards and cannot find one instance of a measurement that I needed to fix in order for my individual club stats to reflect my real distances.  I use CT10 sensors so I know what I hit and what club I use.

  • Similar issue. I assumed if I mark a scorecard as 'exclude from performance statistics' it would also be removed from club statistics. Apparently not. I excluded all scorecards, still have data for clubs. In the end I just retired and added the clubs back. No a clean start for 2024.

I will take the opportunity to enter one round and then look at the club data to see if it matches the round.

As well see if they exclude short game or recovery shots.

Just need this snow to melt. Grin

  • Distances recorded through your actual rounds of golf in your scorecards, directly affect the max and average values shown in the "My Bag" section.

If you are having concerns with finding the scorecard distance needing to be corrected, please contact Garmin Support, and one of our experts can assist you in determining what needs to be corrected.

Below are links relevant to to the concern you mentioned that would be recommended to follow and reference if needed:

  • Yes, I went throught all my scoreboards and finally found the anomalities that created erroneous maximums like hitting my 3 wood 400 yards or my Lob Wedge over 164 yards.  I had to spend about 3 hours going through all my scoreboards until I found the outlying maximum values.  Now I go through my scoreboard after each game to make sure my CT10 sensors have not created a false reading.
