ski app

Got a brand new Approach S70 for golfing. Installed SKI app. It doesn't start. It goes with the green triangle but id doesn't record any movement. It always worked on my Quatix 6. IF I knew it I would have brought it! Any hint?

    When skiing, ensure that the watch is exposed to receive GPS signal. If the watch is tucked under your jacket/gloves while skiing...the receiver on the watch may be inhibited by heavy clothing if worn over the watch during activities like skiing.

    In your post, you mentioned that the ski app you are using was "installed". Garmin offers by default a Ski activity app preloaded on the watch, where the Ski option is simply added to your favorites list using the Edit > +Add options located at the bottom of the activity menu on the watch. If you downloaded a 3rd party ski app from the iQ Store, you would need to contact the developer of the content to check and see what troubleshooting steps are needing for their specific app you installed.
