Keeps updating

Why is the watch updating every time I check for updates?  I Can check for updates constantly and it keeps updating every time over and over.

    Are you checking for updates directly on the Approach S70 using Wifi? ...or are you checking for updates via the Garmin Express program? 

    Based on the post, I am not sure if you are seeing an update version showing available to install repeatedly, or what specific is showing available to install on your watch.

    Checking directly from the watch via WiFi.

    Are you seeing an update appear available to install, after selecting the "Check for Updates" option from the Software Update section of System settings on the watch? 

    If you are seeing a version available to install, please confirm the version. Also please check the "About" section of your watch and confirm what version of software is currently showing installed

    After “check for updates”, it requests for software update data…then it starts to download software.  It happens every time i check for update.  Software version on my watch is 14.69

    A solution we have found to resolve the concern, per the steps outlined below: 

    1. Connect the S70 to a home computer with Garmin Express installed. S
    2. Sync your Approach S70 through Garmin Express.
    3. Once you have completed a sync, install any of the updates showing available.
    4. Disconnect the watch from the computer, let the S70 reboot back to the time screen >
    5. Open the System menu on the S70 > Then check for updates in the Software Update menu
    6. S70 should no longer show any updates downloading.
