 Make sure to tap the up and down arrow icons at the bottom of the screen with the point of your finger, a little higher up from the edge of the glass. 

If using a screen protector over the display, you may need to remove it as the touchscreen on the S70 is designed to be used without a screen cover installed over it. 

Also the most current version of software for the Approach S70 is version 14.36 so your software is also needing to be updated as well.
