S70 14.32 battery issue

Got the update today. Battery life is horrible! 20% down within 4 hours in clock mode. How can I downgrade and download the old FW?

    Yes! Having the same issue! This is really bad drain of the battery. Hopefully they will be releasing a patch soon.

    @chris ok. This is interesting. Is you lr watch able to use GPS now? My s70 still unable to locate locating GPS to update weather.

    Yes GPS is working fine.
    Soon after the update, I went outside, open the weather report and selected the option to "locate my position" (or something similar). GPS was acquired in a blink of an eye and both GPS and weather report works perfectly fine.
    Had two rounds of Golf w/o any issues.
    Battery level is now at 77% at midday (from 80% yesterday evening) so I'm almost sure the issue is gone in my case (used to be 2% decrease per hour)

    Interesting. The issue still persists on mine. No chance of going back to normal, and it fact it's getting worse. I have to charge twice a day now.

    Was never that bad on mine. Only thing I can think about is at least to get the GPS to sync. Then maybe  a factory reset, but won't downgrade the FW...

    Definitely we need a fix from Garmin. This cannot and should not go on this way.  Do we know if anyone from Garmin actually looks at this forum?

    Better contact directly support team from Garmin website, via phone, chat or mail (in the support section)

    Update as of September 6th, 2023: 

    Version 14.36 is in the process of releasing for users. Availability is being rolled out, and be sure to keep an eye out for the software update to install on the Approach S70.

    Cody, apologies don’t know how to DM. Is this an issue for UK models or has this version of software not been released in UK yet

    i'm in APAC, using S70 47mm, on FW 14.32. Battery draining approx 20% overnight from 9pm to 7am, that's approx 2-3% an hour. I'm currently charging my watch every 2 days. this is no good. Please let us know what we can do to have this resolve. If we have to wait for the firmware patch available by Garmin, please let us know when can we expect this.
