Comparing previous rounds on the S70

  1. Is there a way to see a composite view of your shot locations on the same golf course over multiple rounds?  This is crucial for charting your rounds and seeing patterns emerge.  Seems it would be a simple thing to do with all the data collected.
  • Yes,  you can view historical shots from previous rounds on each hole within the scorecard:

    Garmin Golf app:

    • Select a round from the Scorecards tab > Select a hole below the overview of your score > tapping the circular arrow around the clock icon in the upper right corner of the hole view screen > The historical shots switch can toggled on/off from the short dropdown menu that appears > You will then see dots appear on the map from previous shots.

    Garmin Connect website:

    • Log in > Expand the Connect dashboard on the left side of the screen > Tap Golf > Scorecards > Select a scorecard > Tap the blue highlight where the score is showing to open the hole view showing shots on the map > Then toggle the "Historical Shots" switch under the list view of each club/shot to the left of the map.

    Virtual Caddie:

    • Shot dispersion outline can be viewed from historical shots using the updated virtual caddie feature on the Approach S70 during your round. This will not show dots but will show an outline of the shot area based on the club suggestion.
  • Thanks you!  I just got the watch so once I have a few rounds played on the same course/holes, I’ll try out this feature.  Appreciate the information!  Best Regards!!!
