The PlaysLike Distance feature on the S70 utilizes a combination of slope data for the course, and the barometric altimeter sensor for elevation and air pressure factored into the feature.
In the Golf Settings menu directly on the S70, you can enter set metrics for the area you typically play at home, and calibration of the barometric altimeter sensor on the watch can be performed through the Sensors & Accessories menu.
