Need to Reset for Plays Like

For the 2nd time in 2 weeks, my plays like distance is showing significantly higher yardages than the actual distance on every hole, including holes that are significantly downhill.  The only way to fix the issue is by powering the watch down, after which most times the yardages shown become accurate.  Does anyone else have this problem?  It’s hard to fix mid round as my round then gets interrupted on the watch.

  • The Approach S70 uses the barometric altimeter in conjunction with the slope data for the course to provide the values.

Calibration of the barometric altimeter sensor, and setting values for the playslike distance setting on the watch will help to alleviate erroneous distances.

  • This is now a persistent issue.

Every few rounds, my plays like distance goes wildly off. I'll be on a downhill hole which typically shows a 150 yard shot at a plays like of 135 (which is correct). But then for a full round, the plays like for the same shot will show 190 yards. And it will show that for every shot for an entire round.

It's incredibly frustrating because I don't want to lose the round by resetting the watch mid round. And it appears to happen every 3-6 rounds. I don't reset the watch every time now, it just goes back to working.

    What is going on?

This is clearly not a barometric issue as I'm playing the same home course each time and the issue appears one round and then disappears the next.  There are no significant differences in temp or anything else weather wise between when it goes crazy and normal.
