S70 with CT10 and two golfbags

I have bought the S70 including the starter set CT10 and want to buy the full set 2x for two bags. For the summer I play home with a full set of golfclubs and in the winter I am on a sunny warm place where I have a full golf set as well. Can I pair two different sets with CT10 to my S70? I think that when in the app I put all clubs of the second bag with f.i. the name driver 2, putter 2 etc it is possible to play with the two sets on a different location with my S70 without changing the CT10? I prefer both sets with CT10 instead of changing twice a year the CT10 to another set.

  • The Approach S70 can store up to 30 CT-10 club tracking sensors, with 3 pulled out of the bag paired at once during rounds of golf.

Assuming each bag has 14 clubs, your Approach S70 can store the 28 sensors needed. We would highly suggest nicknaming the clubs in the list specifically to differentiate which set is being used.

Feel free to check out our support page showing more info max sensor amounts on the S70, along with other compatible devices for others that may see this post with a different model:

How Many Approach CT10 Sensors Can Be Paired With My Approach Product

  • Thanks! I already tried to put extra clubs in the app with a nickname, now I know I can pair both full golf bags in that way subsequently with CT10.

  • Hi, just found your question after I posted the same question in the s62 subforum. Did you had a chance to test the setup above? I’m not sure if it’s gonna work as we expect, because having two 7 irons with different data (they are never gonna be exactly the same) could be confusing.

  • The club list will reflect the nickname given to each club in the My Bag section of the Garmin Golf app. Then, from the club sensors menu on the watch, users can differentiate when pairing them for the first time.

Since all clubs will be assigned to CT-10 sensors, the user does not have to select them or view them through the virtual caddie menu after pairing them once. The correct club assigned will automatically track the shots to appropriate club going forward with all shots tracking being automatic for every club in each bag.

When reviewing the scorecards after the round, the shots will reflect the nicknamed clubs, along with the max and average distances in the Garmin Golf app, making it easy to know which club from each bag was used.

  • I already have a S60. Because of this article I bought a approach S70.

I put all 28 clubs in the Golf app with different nicknames. The app constantly shows the message "25 clubs is Max" but all 28 clubs are in the app. However my brand new approach S70 doesn't list them all. In the watch Only 20 clubs were listed witch I could pair with 20 clubs?!! More club pairing stocked What can I do?
