Add Approach Wedge to club options

Can we please get an Approach Wedge added between the Pitching Wedge and Gap Wedge. When virtual caddy recommends a club, both are under GW so it’s hard to know which club the caddy is recommending!

I'd second this request. I'm in the same boat, though the PW and AW are more like irons for me, and my three Vokeys are what I would consider my "wedges".

I went with using the PW, GW, SW and LW even though my clubs aren't quite set up like this - that helps me with the recommendations, maybe this will work for you? Unless of course you have 5 wedges? Then you're just Wedgerific!

PW - AW - 52 - 56? Most of the golfers use loft number when referring to the higher lofted wedges. What about that?

BTW this should be obviously available across all Garmin 'golf-able' watches not just S70,,,

Club types are not exclusive to any one model. The club types are offered through the user's account through either the "My Bag" section of the Garmin Golf app, or in the "Gear > Golf Clubs" section in the website version of Garmin Connect.

Hey Garmin-Cody, the thread you linked above is 2 years old - and nothing has happened since then. You can choose from a big list of partially really exotic clubs but such a common club as an Approach Wedge (AW) is not listed. You should provide PW - AW - GW - SW - LW (in this order). These are 5 different clubs. Or - as mentioned above - you provide the most common lofts: 48 - 50 - 52 - 54 - 56 - 58 - 60.
