S62 is no longer tracking health data.

All of the stress, sleep, intensity, pulse ox, heart rate, steps, etc., stopped syncing.  I restarted both watch and iPhone, removed and reinstalled watch and various other things - can’t figure it out, it just stopped overnight. Does anyone have a fix for this?

  • If you are seeing the health data displaying on your watch but not in the Connect app, then your S62 likely has not  had a recent sync to transfer the information to display in the Connect mobile app.

The Garmin Golf app is used to sync the S62, so if you are not seeing any health data showing in the Garmin Connect mobile app...then the Garmin Golf app may not be running in the background on your phone, or has not been opened to actually sync your specific watch. To sync your S62, open the Garmin Golf app > tap the "Profile" tab > Then select "My Devices" and confirm your Approach S62 is showing a "Connected" status > Then tap the circular arrow icon to manually sync and visually confirm the sync was performed and leave the Garmin Golf app running for a bit to transfer all of the activity tracking info over from the watch.

Other models like the fenix series sync through the Garmin Connect mobile app, but Approach watches like the S62 require sync through the Garmin Golf app to transfer and display the health data in the Garmin Connect mobile app.

    Other factors:

    • Ensure activity tracking has not been switched off by tapping the middle button on the side of the S62 from the time screen to open the main menu > Select the settings gear > Then scroll down the menu to the section showing "Activity Tracking" to make sure the switch is on showing green and not gray.
    • Open Settings > Select "Sensors & Accessories" > Wrist Heart Rate > Confirm the heart rate sensor is showing switched on.
