Golf watch caddie club recommendation?

When golf watch caddie recommends a club, is that based on prior hole experience or solely on club distance?

  • Thread moved from German to English language forum.

  • On the Approach S62, the virtual caddie features include the following:

    • The virtual caddie provides recommendations based on the hole, wind data, and your past performance with each club.
    • You can request a different club by tapping on the icon of the golfer holding the flag with the current recommended club type at the bottom of the screen > Then on the next screen, tap the club displayed and you can then switch the club type and the map will reconfigure the target based on the club you selected.
    • You can request a club recommendation manually when the virtual caddie setting is set to Manual or when big numbers mode is enabled.
    • The device automatically recalculates the club recommendation as you progress through the course. You can select Recalculate to manually update the club recommendation.
