After walk completion you won't see a map on the watch. Need to run Garmin Connect to sync the data from the watch and then use either your phone or PC to show the walking activity. That's the way it's always been with my S62.
FWIW, if you use a PC you can also perform a replay tracking the activity you have have done - works for me for my Golf, Walking, Biking and Skiing activities.
Thanks Owen. It doesn’t show after uploading to phone. It looks like it has to do with CPE: Current or Expired which is a file related to GPS Sat locations. Garmin are replacing the watch after doing the resetting and updating which didn’t seem to fix it.
Open the settings for walk to ensure GPS is enabled for the activity, as the GPS settings may be switched off.
