S62 Not working properly

- While playing it sometimes works, but most of the time it shows me all 0's, flips through various distances, or is just way off

- Won't connect to phone

-Time is wrong and doesn't update, usually fixes once I search for golf courses

Says it is up to date with 5.0

  • To correct the time, open Settings > System > Time > Confirm "Time Source" is set to "Auto " > Then scroll down and select the "Sync Time with GPS" option > Take the watch outside with the sky directly above you and allow the watch to acquire satellites > Once the satellite acquisition has full loaded, the watch will then update and display the correct time. The time is correcting when you use the watch for golf because the watch is acquiring satellites to display nearby courses at the beginning of the round. 

    I would need more info to determine the phone connection concern you mentioned...regarding what you are seeing on the watch or your smartphone indicating that the watch is not connected. In general, steps to resolve connection concerns to the Garmin Golf app...or Bluetooth connection to the smartphone can be resolved through the steps outlined on the support page linked here: Garmin Golf App Troubleshooting

    If something inadvertently comes in contact with the touchscreen during the golf round, the info on the screen may change, along with the hole displaying (if the slider around the edge of the screen is touched). 

    The concern you mentioned, "...but most of the time it shows me all 0's" is the part that I would need more info...especially a photo and info on the specific course you selected to make more sense of.
