Garmin Approach S62 golf yardage distances inaccurate

My Garmin S62 golf yardage distances are inaccurate. Typically when I am at the tee box my S62 shows the distance to be around 20 to 30 yards short of the actual yardage. This level of inaccuracy reduces the closer I get to the hole but still remains inaccurate. I have tried multiple courses and it is the same.

Often the cause of the difference in distance similar to the amount you described (20-30 yards) is due to the Distance setting in the "Settings > System > Units > Distance setting being inadvertently set to "Meters" instead of "Yards". If the Units for distance setting is showing menus when you check the menu on the Approach S62, then switching to "Yards" should correct the issue.
