My son and I have a Garmin s62, but my watch reads 10 yards less than my son's. How can I fix it? My son's watch is quite accurate, mine is not.We have done the test several times and the same thing happens. Thanks for your help.

I have done all the map updates from the website and the problem continues
If you are seeing the distance show 10 yards off compared to the other watch...we would recommend checking the the units section of watch settings.
To access the units Setting, tap the middle button on the side of the watch from the regular time/watch face screen to open the main menu > Select Settings from the list > Then scroll down to the bottom of the menu and select the System option > Then select Units > Make sure your units of distance for golf are not set to meters.
The 2 clocks have exactly the same configuration, they both read in yards, the problem has to be something else.
You ever figure this out? I was having the same issue yesterday when comparing with another fenix watch. Mine also was showing a plays as negative distance when the hole was 10 yards up hill...
Most GPS watches are only accurate to about +- 3 yards, which means any two devices are likely to differ by some amount. As an amateur golfer if you can always hit a given club within a 10yd distance you should probably be playing on the PGA tour. Laser rangefinders are far more accurate than watches but even then there will be a variance between any two devices - it's the nature of consumer electronics and their relationship to the different GPS satellite systems :-)
