Wrong course data not being corrected

Several Golf Courses in my region seem to have outdated maps. (DE- GolfCity Puhlheim, DE - Rittergut Birkhof (Am Römerweg), DE - Friehlinghausen). I did report all of them but I did not get an confirmation about my report. After > 1 month waiting the courses have not been updated either. What should i do to get correct data for these courses?

It will take at least 6 month or more, before you hear or see something. Updates come twice a year.

Install updates to the course mapping on your watch through Garmin Express on a home computer. Steps to install available on support page here: Updating course maps and device software from Approach devices

Golf city was updated recently in 2023... so that should correct upon installation. Rittergut Birkhof is showing updated back in 2022.

The Garmin Golf Course Report form is available for any courses that are needing correction or updating.

We recommend updating your course maps a couple times per year, and our map team releases updates for maps in bundles throughout the year on an unscheduled, and as needed basis.

Thanks a lot. I was under the impression, that Connect IQ made Garmin Express obsolete. At least for those map updates it does not seem to be the case. Now a couple of course have been updated for me. (e.g. GolfCity)

The correction of the Course Rating for Rittergut Birkhof (course: Am Roemerweg) has not happend yet. Both the Garmin Golf App as well as my Stableford Point on the Watch indicate a incorrect rating. I did request the update via the mentioned form. Can i expect some notification when this update is implemented or do i need to re-check periodically?

You are right. The manual says, that courses are updated via app automatically.
I found out yesterday, that you can also download 'offline' courses within the golf app, I always did this with the connect app, maybe this helps.

Manual says, that this is done automatically using the golf app (for S62).
btw: You can also download courses within the connect-app. Whatever this is for.

Communications regarding a change/updates to a specific course becoming available in a map update release, will only get sent to you if you submitted a course report form through the site. On the report form, there is a prompt to enter an email address, and then we send an email notifying when the update containing the update/correction to the course reported is available to install.

The Approach S62 features auto updates for courses, but will only receive a course update if the following two conditions are met:

Connected to a smartphone, and paired with the Garmin Golf App
Played the course at least twice, synced the saved the scorecard, and played the two rounds while the preloaded map for the course on the watch is out of date .

Devices that do not feature the Map Manager feature, must install the bundled course map updates Garmin releases through a corded connection, using the Garmin Express program (S62, S42, S12, G12, Z82, or older).

The Approach S70 is the only Approach series watch that offers the Map Manager feature with the full updates installable through a wifi connection to the watch.
