Duplicate clubs in shot edit after round is complete

Let's start with

1) I don't play four 3 hybrids.  I don't even play one.  And yet, FOUR 3 hybrid clubs display when I review shots after the round.  FOUR.   There are NONE in the MyBag.  In fact, there are 2-3 of almost every club I've ever played (including all that I don't now).

How is this allowed to happen?

  • Open the Garmin Golf app, and review your clubs listed in the "My Bag" section of the app. Look at each club you have showing in the list by selecting them and make sure the "Club Type" section of each club does not show Hybrid 3 selected for multiple clubs in your list.

  • In edit mode every single club has duplicates... including 3 drivers, and four of many others. Sounds like you built it wrong. Am I right?

  • The menu should not be showing duplicate club options, unless your golf club list in the "My Bag" section of the Garmin Golf app is showing multiple 3 hybrid club options in your set.

I will be reaching out to you directly to gather more information from your regarding the concern.

  • Agreed. Thanks much for your help!

  • Hi, I also have the same issue, please post the resolution back here... following

  • Update as of August 8, 2023:

Garmin Golf app version 2.14 now available for Android along with iOS. Check the App Store/Google Play Store to ensure update is installed,

This update should sort out any concerns with duplicate club options.

If any continues to have the concern after verifying version 2.14 is installed for the Garmin Golf app, please direct message me so I can gather further info from you.

Thank you all for your patience!

  • Quick info for anyone still experiencing this issue, the update did not immediately fix it for me, but now after a reinstall the old, deleted clubs have disappeared.

  • A reinstall of the app may be needed for the Garmin Golf app on Android if the issue persists, and they have updated/confirmed the app is on the most current version.

Note: Users that have a golf watch, and also have an Approach R10 should reach out to Garmin Support prior to uninstalling the app.
