Green View

I used a contour green view for the first time yesterday.  I think it would be logical if I could walk to the pin and touch the screen or an option that says "pin is at current location."  I know I can drag the pin, but there's no way to get it to the precise location that I can find.

Does this already have that feature or is it a possible enhancement?

  • It's not a feature, and I've also requested it.  It would speed up time spent messing with the watch greatly!

  • Hello,  I have read your issue about contour green view i think you should do one thing but firstly i should say

I'm not aware of a feature on the Contour Green View that allows you to automatically set the pin location at your current location. However, most golf GPS devices, including the Contour Green View, allow you to manually adjust the pin location by dragging it to the desired location on the touchscreen.

While it might be convenient to have a feature that automatically sets the pin location at your current location, this could potentially lead to inaccuracies if the device is unable to accurately determine your exact location on the course. Therefore, it's generally better to allow golfers to manually adjust the pin location as needed.

That being said, if you think this feature would be beneficial, you could contact the manufacturer and suggest it as a possible enhancement for future versions of the device. The manufacturer may consider it as a potential addition to the device's functionality based on user feedback and demand. Hope so it is little bit useful for you . Fragomen Connect

  • I've already requested it as an option.  I sometimes manually relocate the pins now, but if I forget to do it on the tee or approach shot when I'm referencing a laser rangefinder, it's a real hassle to mess with on the green.  I'm not sure I've ever seen the distance counter on the green EVER say 0, so I know and accept that it's never going to be exact, but if you are on the green trying to move the pin manually, it's difficult to get it to be less than 2 yards especially with poor visual references on the green view to start with.  A "snap to here" feature, or even the "position dot" the watch shows on the fairway and the apps have showing where I am, would at least let me get a quick reference on where to move the pin to.  I already understand that the accuracy of the GPS in general is only 3 yards more than likely, but just having the feature would speed play up, some.

  • Thank you so much for helping me out as well. I appreciate you for helping me and if I want to know more, I will message you. And yes, I also need homework help for college students and for that I am looking for it online. Can anyone over here please help me in searching for it online? I will be thankful to you.
