Friends on Garmin Golf

When we add friends we can see their general activities in the garmin connect app, including golf, but we can’t see their rounds in the garmin golf. So you can see they walked 10km in their round but not how many strokes/points… not sure why

it Would be nice to be able to sync a game together to have both scorecards together as well as see and compare stats between friends! It is a pity it remains so individual without the potential social addons

Yeah, it's a pity how much wasted potential the app has. Take 4820288's first post as a suggestion. I'm a happy new owner but I'm really missing TheGrint's stats panel and social features it had.…

Bump - Are there any plans to extend the social aspects of Garmin golf?

There is a lot to learn from “golf gamebook” and other similar apps… I don’t think it is the intention from garmin for the moment

Access will be limited to friends accounts. Since scorecards are part of their uploads like activities, and other information...those cannot be viewed unless they share the scorecard with you by using the share feature within the Garmin Golf app.

The Sharing Scorecards on the Garmin Golf App support page outlines the steps to share scorecard info for reference if needed.

Not working, I don’t have the option of sharing, only settings of the scorecard or deleting. Nevertheless, this is not the issue or what the community is requesting.

This may be due to the configuration on your phone with the permissions allowed to the Garmin Golf app...if you are not seeing options or apps to share...or the option to save to your photos on your phone...then the Garmin Golf app would need permissions granted to access and share via other app options.
