Let’s say you forget to enter club used for a particular shot and then hit another shot, and then you notice the prompt asking you which club you used. This prompt likely appeared after the first shot but, since you forgot to enter the club used immediately after the first shot, you don’t know whether the prompt you see after the second shot is a prompt that remains on the screen from the first shot (and therefore is asking about club used for the first shot) or automatically moved on and now is asking only about the club for the second shot.
