Garmin Connect has wiped out all data

I need help, Garmin Support is stumped.  For two years I have owned an S-62 Garmin GPS watch for golf.  When I set up my account and registered the watch it allowed you to go to Garmin Connect and, in the section, "Gear" you were allowed to enter the golf equipment you use and keep track of many statistics.  Everything worked great for the two years until this last Thursday I opened Garmin Connect and all my data was there like always then I closed out of the program and came back later and all the information i.e. clubs, stats, and everything was gone.  I decided I would just start over and list all the equipment again and start over, and here comes the real problem, it will not allow me to put anything in the gear section, you can list everything, close the program and everything is gone again.  Has anyone had an issue like this and if so, what are the solutions?

  • Is this really in Garmin Connect? Web site?

    This is info I find and change in Garmin Golf app, and there I can also see statistics.

    I don't use web version, so not sure what happens there.

  • Give the web based version of Garmin Connect a try.  My clubs show up there but not under the Golf section but rather the Gear area as an explicit Golf Clubs tab.  That can help you confirm the golf bag data is being stored inside Garmin.  An uninstall/reinstall of both the Garmin Connect/Garmin Golf apps on your phone might then correct the display of your bag on the phone side of things.
