This would be a helpful feature for finding your tee shot. After you hit, point the watch the direction you think your tee shot went and the watch draws a line from where you tee'd off. Then, if you lose sight of your shot because you're helping your buddy find a golf ball, etc. you can return to the line you chose from the teebox. Using autoshot you can see how far you are from the tee and can likely get yourself within 10-20 yards of your ball.
