S62 successor?

Hi!

I'm considering purchasing an S62. But is there any word on a successor coming out this year? It would be really frustrating if I would to buy one now and a new model comes out in a couple of months. Some retailers have dropped the s62 by 20%.

It's been a bit over 2 years since the s62 came out. The s62 came 2.5 years after the s60..

    Dont bother the app is rubbish. Buy a Shotscope or an arcoss

    Arcos only guarantee picking up 90% of your shots, have an annual cost, and require you use your phone. Shotscope uses a watch but doesn’t display a course map. You either haven’t evaluated the other products or you’re biased against Garmin for some reason.

    Not sure why I'd be biased against Garmin I have the S62 myself. Like most people that buy the S62 it is for a Golf specific device. The watch itself is great however the app and the output of data collected is rubbish compared to its competitors and Garmin dont appear to have any interest in improving this.

    So as a watch the Garmin is great, for golf purposes not so good and arcoss and shotscope pulling well clear

    Garmin’s update priority is somewhat lacking, that is true. But the Arccos software is only as good as the data it gets in, which is unreliable. I know, I used it. Shotscope I can’t vouch for, a few friends use it and are happy enough, but it doesn’t have a course map, which is one of the best features I like. They both have good features, but they aren’t entirely overlapping
