Cancel S62 Autoshot Detection

I don't think you can cancel a practice shot taken that is picked up by the watch.

I'll often take practice swings by the cart, 10-15 yards behind someone waiting for them to hit when our balls are near each other or away from the ball while waiting and it picks up the shot.  I get that and no problem as the watch doesn't know that's what's happening.  But PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD allow us to cancel pickup of autoshot detect. Even simply touching the yardage count to cancel or pressing a button would be so valuable.  It's impossible to remember every time it happens in a round and it also screws up score tracking during the round.

If I've missed it, please let me know.  TY!

  • I would love for Garmin to fix this fundamental issue with this watch. I have been using my S62 and full set of sensors for many years now and I really love it but this bug annoys me a lot. Most of the game statistics are based on shot detection and if a practice swing is detected as a shot then fairway hits and GIR stats don’t work. And even after the round I spend time to clean the wrongly detected shots this doesn’t change the fairway hit and GIR stats.

Garmin can you either add ‘last shot cancel’ option to this watch or add option in the golf app to recalculate stats after removing all wrongly detected shots! It would make this watch much better golf watch! Please!
