Golf app or Connect?

I am waiting for my s63 to arrive and was wondering if it fine to have just the Golf app or do i need to have both the Golf app and Connect app installed?

I've seen other questions where people seem to be having problems when both are installed

I have both installed and don't have any issues. I use the Connect app with bluetooth to sync my watch contents (golf and my other activities) back to Garmin. I only use the Golf app to review what my round looked like and to add stroke/club selections when the watch didn't record them properly.
