Open the Garmin Connect Mobile app. Then Menu >> Settings >> Notifications >> App Notifications >> toggle on/off the app notifications you want or don't want.

If the caller is in my contact list, I see the name.
If the caller is not in my contacts, I see the phone number.
Check permissions. Garmin Connect needs access to your contacts. Personally, I just allow all permissions.
