My watch will not “prompt” to a score when I get on the green

The last two days my watch stopped switching to the score card when I walk on to the green. Now it just shows the green but now I have a “pencil” icon where the virtual caddy is located. I touch the pencil and I then get the score card and I have to enter my score.

The watch has been working perfectly for months and just started this for the last two rounds.

Can anyone please help?

Thank you

  • Hello,

We had heard from customers that the score prompt was coming up at times when they still wanted to see the distances or the green view. This new solution gives users more flexibility for when they want to enter the score and that we still automatically bring it up when walking away from the hole.

  • This is terrible. I can please have the option of the walk up score. The vibration reminder when I leave the green was fantastic! I was very happy with this watch, could we make it an option to decide how to display when we walk onto the green.
    thank you!!!

  • The old way was so much better! - it was easy to hit the back button to clear the prompt. Please can you either change it back to how it was or create a setting where we can choose whether to have the auto prompt and vibration reminder. The auto prompt is brilliant when using with the CT10 sensors.

  • WIth the new system, I still get the vibration reminder if I haven't entered my score.  I tested it by deliberately walking to the next tee without touching the pencil icon.  Score input showed exactly as it did under the old way.

  • Hello, we have made adjustments to scoring prompt to improve the overall user experience. You can find more information on the support page linked below.

Adjustment to Scoring Prompt on Compatible Approach Devices

  • Please make it an option for us to choose. I used it today and yes I had to walk away from the green and it worked. But I liked the way it was much better.

  • If you want to enter your score while waiting for others to putt out and before walking off the green, just press the pencil icon; think of it as if you had to write it down on a traditional scorecard Slight smile

  • I am in 100% agreement with Rich R can we please have the option of the walk up score. The vibration reminder when I leave the green was fantastic! I was very happy with this watch, could we make it an option to decide how to display when we walk onto the green. This new update I am finding it awful to use, I have had two frustrating rounds when leaving the greens if the tee box is close by then it is still displaying that you are on the green! (and no vibration reminder) I played my driver and that was not registered on the new hole it was still showing I was on the green.  Can we please have the option of the walk up score & The vibration reminder when leaving the green returned and back in the next update.

  • Hello, I prefer much more the old version. I have tested the new one in several couses, and most of the holes you have to update the score card and change the hole manually.

In small Pitch&Put courses when you are in the new tee, most of the times the S62 is still in the previous hole without prompting the score card, so that you have to do it manually, including the score card updating.

I guess it shoud be an option, in my case I don't need the hole map when I am on the green.

    Thanks for your support

  • I prefer the new version. With the old software, if I pulled or pushed an approach shot and was chipping onto the green the scorecard would be showing when I would prefer to have the distance showing.  With the new software, the distance still shows, even when on the green but I have the option to enter the score whilst waiting for my playing partners to putt out.  If I forget to add my score, I still got a buzz form the watch as I walked to the next hole to remind me to update the score.

Overall the software change is a great improvement.
