Shot Tracking

I've read all of the instructions for others that are having the same issue (seems like this is a known issue that needs to be addressed!).  I've followed all of the steps all the way to removing my Golf Approach S62 from Garmin Connect (would not sync at any point in the steps so I kept going).  Now I'm at the point of having to re-pair my Approach and I get the error message "Pairing Failed - unable to pair your Garmin device MessageWriteError (message: "exhausted retries").  What??????   My Iphone and watch see each other (says already paired) but it stops when completing setup.  Did another search on this forum for this error message without results.  

  • Please do the following to reset and re-pair the watch and phone from scratch:

    Press Menu button> Select SettingsSystemReset Reset Default Settings

    Uninstall both the Connect and Golf apps. Remove the device from your Bluetooth settings (unpair/forget).

    Once the watch has rebooted, install the Garmin Golf app, sign in and do the same for Garmin Connect.

    On your watch Press the Menu button > Settings Phone > Pair Phone

    Restart your phone. In Garmin Connect, touch More in the bottom right and click on Garmin Devices. Follow the prompts to add the device. They should connect without issue.
