Battery life

Good day

Regarding the battery life, and how I can charge my watch to get the optimum battery life... must I wait until battery is below a certain percentage before charging it, or can I charge it for example if it's above 80%. Does it have a effect on the battery life expectancy if I charge it if it is still reasonably full

  • You do not have to wait for the battery to deplete to a certain percentage to charge it, although we wouldn't suggest letting the battery deplete to 0%. Just like any lithium ion battery, the battery will typically last longer depending on what features are, or are not being used on the device. If you wish, charging it above 80% is fine.

Having a constant Bluetooth connection will shorten battery life for the charge cycle, as well as having an activity running such as Golf. The display functions can also determine how long the battery lasts, especially if you have the brightness level set to high and the timeout for the display light set to long. The watch receiving notifications will also decrease how long the charge cycle will last.

These are just a few examples, and they can cut into the battery life for the charge cycle bringing the amount of time you can get out of the battery life from 14 days (if used as just a watch) to 7 days, or even less.
