Unable to Sync correctly (partial sync with errors)

Hi all,

I have a new Garmin S62 ASIA and use it for both golf and activity tracking (swimming, cardio, etc).

Unfortunately I am unable to get it to sync fully with either the IOS Golf, iOS Garmin Connect or Windows Garmin Express apps.

With all 3 pieces of software it seems to sync data like my score for a Golf Round and my daily step count. However it does not sync the details of my round (ie where my shots went, club distances, etc) nor my activities (swimming, running, etc).

The errors I get are:

    iOs : Sync Failed - Server Errror

    Windows : There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect

It's really frustrating and so far making the whole change from Suunto to Garmin a complete and utter waste of time.

I've tried re-installing both apps on my phone. And upgrading my software via the Garmin Express app.

Any suggestions or help would be very much appreciate.

  • Further to my above post, having updated the watch software, turned it off, on and reconnected it. On sync I now get this message:

    Some files could not be uploaded to Garmin...

    There are 3 files shown. However when I follow the instructions to remove them, there are no files available under the sync folder. So I cannot seem to remove them. However the message remains.

    Does this help?
