Any way to tell s62 where the pin is besides changing it by dragging on each hole?
Shot Scope makes it super easy. Just press a bottom when you pick up your ball. Super simple.
The Garmin has to have something just as good right?

Agree - I bought the Shotscope V3 to compare it to my S62, and it is a game changer. Would love to see this added to S62. Even better would be for the Z82 to sync with S62. Scope the pin, update the location…
This would be such a HUGE upgrade and so simple to implement. It would also make your approach and chip shot stats actually accurate. For now I guess I'll just move the pin if I remember.. that's not accurate…
If only. That would be a huge upgrade to putting stats being easier to get as anything they could do

I start my round updating the flag but if my round is falling apart I stop caring. That's a shame as it should be easier as the point of getting these stats is to have them actionable.

Used the 3 x CT10s for the first time on the weekend. Makes the putting stats next to useless as you're guessing where the pin is.
I don't think any handheld device is going to give you accurate pin position info. Yeah you can push a button to get your GPS coords when standing next to the pin but even then there's a margin of error in spite of what the GPS chip manufacturers say. Garmin's website states that even with WAAS accuracy is better then 3 meters but they don't specifically indicate anything better than that. 3m is approx that 10 ft putt we find so difficult to hole out.
Nope. Shot Scope did it really well. There's no relatively accurate method of positioning the pin with the S62.
