Anyone else got issues with notifications today ?? Just started this morning ..I've made no changes to watch or phone yet all notifications have stopped on the watch eg phone/text/email etc . Checked settings and all seems ok ????

Try rebooting your phone. When my watch stops getting updates it's been my iPhone X's issue so far or at least a reboot fixes it.

Thanks for reply Rob . I went through all the suggested ( most I had previously checked too ) but still no joy .
I do get a ‘ phone connected / disconnected ‘ notification on the watch when I’m in/out of reach of Bluetooth etc ;but noessages / WhatsApp , email , phone ring etc notification . I was getting all these yesterday though
and not had a software update to anything that may of caused this issue .
You might need to clear the pairing history between the watch and the phone. Go into your Bluetooth settings on your phone and forget the Garmin device. Uninstall and Reinstall both the Garmin Connect app and Garmin Golf app. Reboot your phone. Reset your watch:
Select Menu > Settings > System > Restore Defaults > Yes
Once the watch has booted back up (may take several minutes) follow the set up prompts on the watch. Once it gets to the pair phone step, install the Garmin Golf app and follow the prompts to repair it, make sure to allow smart notifications. You can then install the Garmin Connect app.

I didn’t do anything , no changes to settings etc etc ...last thing I did was go through checking the settings you linked previous ,BUT honestly I didn’t change any as all were as suggested WEIRD !!
next day and the problem reoccurs !! :-) started working yesterday evening , no changes to watch or phone and today no notifications again !! Grrrrrrrrrrr
UPDATE : Just switched the Bluetooth off on phone and back on and 'hey presto ' 5 mins later a Whatsapp notification came through on watch :-)
Any ideas why I have to switch Bluetooth on / off to get it working ??
