Can I load topographic maps?

I received an Approach S62 as a gift from work so I can't return it. The golf function is cool, but I'd like to be able to use it for hiking.

I see some other Garmin models have topographic maps preloaded. Can I do this for my Approach? Is the Garmin Topo map collection compatible, or anything free? I've been messing around try to get free topo maps and it's been a struggle.

    Wrong device for that type of function.  S62 is golf focused with an ability to record a few other activities.  As an example I use mine to record skiing and bicycling activities but it's limited to recording what I did.  For playback of the recorded info I have to use my PC or the Garmin Connect app on my Android phone. There's a hiking activity that can record GPS info (time, distance, elevation change) but a topo map will need one of the Garmin Handheld GPS's if you want to display topo map routing in real time.  That's when I use an older Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx

    Edit - also looks like this topo map capability exists on other watches like Fenix, Forerunner, Instinct and Edge
