I am also having this problem with Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. Seems that the updates recently finally fixed the notifications for text messages and apps but now I am not getting phone calls to show.

This has been an issue for a long while now , yet still no fix from Garmin.
with all due respect Garmin-Rob , we all get the same “ I’ll send you a pm to gather more info “ ..I sent all the requested info .yet nothing gets resolved !!
For a £500 watch this is abysmal service from Garmin , it’s getting to the point we should all ask for a refund ££ as this watch is ‘ not fit for purpose ‘ !! Could of purchased a much cheaper golf watch and separate smart watch and saved money , with both working as they should !!

This allows our Outdoor Helpdesk team to reach out to those customers, you included once a fix is available.
I am right there with you in regards to it being frustrating. Especially with not being able to tell you a time frame for the fix. I do know that the engineering team is taking this issue seriously and it is being worked on.
Garmin-Rob . Appreciate you are the ‘middle man ‘ as such on here but the flack isn’t directed at you personally . It’s just so frustrating that the software team have taken so long with this and still no resolution to a fix . Is it just a problem with owners of the S62 watch , or others with a different watch using the Golf App / Connect app etc ? Maybe this would narrow it down ?!!
The issue isn't just with the Approach S62, other models such as the Approach S40 are experiencing similar issues. And again, this issue is specifically between these watches and phones using the Android OS. So this is likely a breakdown between the app and how it is working with the OS on those phones which is resulting in intermittent notifications on the watch. Force closing the Golf app appears to re-establish this connection temporarily before it breaks down again. I am hopeful we are closing in on a fix soon.
Thanks for that update Rob ...in a way it’s good to know other devices are having same issue , ( but unfortunate for them too ,) as this hopefully will get this problem fixed - ie the more complaints etc
