There is a new IOS update now. I updated and all fine now !
A fix for this issue was released over the weekend. Please follow the steps in the support article linked below. If you continue to have issues, please highlight my name and send me a private message.
…Got my IQ app working
I found by installing the ‘Connect app’ the iQ app then connected to my S62 ..I originally had the golf app and Connect IQ installed but not the Connect app as didn’t think needed…
Don’t know if it’s connected to the update or not but took my watch ages to locate satellites today
I raised an online issue with Garmin on Friday... not heard anything about progressing it
That was Good Friday and this is Easter weekend so I'm not surprised. Let's see what Garmin - Chris or Garmin-Rob have to say this coming week
Still unable to sync with Connect after the latest update!
I too went through the process of uninstalling etc and thought I had resolved the issue, unfortunately it didn't remain stable for very long and like vonbonds I soon lost the sync again. Think this is one of those issues that Garmin will have to resolve.
Similar here ...S62 connects to the Golf App, but the Connect IQ app says “ not connected “ even though it recognises the S62 Approach as ‘ My Device’ ...
#tech’s getting more complicated not easier !!
Has anyone had a reply from Garmin? Golf app working, but still no IQ or connect. So lots of features unusable. Why should we have to reset watches and uninstall and reinstall apps on what is meant to be a quality product. This is quite a big issue for this watch. Didn’t mention this carry on in the reviews. Sorry, rant over, not happy
Agree with you ...with the cost of these watches you’d expect better service from Garmin
FWIW, I was able to connect with Garmin support within minutes on Easter Sunday using online chat. Email will always take longer.
Using email you'll then get a response after submitting stating the following
"We typically respond within 3-5 business days, but it may take a bit longer during busy times of the year or if your query involves additional research. We're here Monday-Friday 7 a.m.– 7 p.m. CT. Closed weekends and holidays."
