Not receiving any notifications on Approach S62

When I first synced the watch to my Samsung S20+, everything worked as expected.  After adding Connect and Connect I to my phone, I no longer received any notifications.  I have removed and reinstalled every app on the phone.  I have confirmed in notification access that Connect is enabled, I have updated every app permission that I want to see on the watch is enabled, on Garmin Connect app, under notifications, I have enabled everything, and on the watch, Smart notifications are set to show all both during and not during activity.

Please help!!!

  • I'm having the same issue all of a sudden, despite receiving guidance from Charles this evening.

  • same with me ..all started with issues of no notifications again  06/12/21 !   I had to do the usual of 'force stop'/ flight mode etc  Grrrrrrr 

  • Having problems too. Disconnected the bluetooth and reconnected. Worked a bit, once out of reach, it stopped working again! PLEASE FIX IT. Paying 700 bucks for a watch that does not send notifications?????

  • Having the same issues. All of a sudden a few days ago, my s62 stopped receiving all notifications including calendar events etc. EXCEPT phone calls and text msgs. A day later it started radmonly receiving emails etc. again and then an hour later it went back to just texts and calls only. Today I am not receiving any notifications what so ever (not even texts and calls anymore). This watch was flawless (for 5 months) until a few days ago. Garmin told me that it seems to be a growing issue specifically with the s62 model. I really hope it gets resolved quickly. I use this watch daily for work and right now it is useless unless I go play golf (and it's winter...). 

    Just a side note: I have the Garmin Instinct Tactical watch and it is working 100% fine. All notifications are coming in like they should. 

  • You'd of thought Garmin techies would of done a thorough test before releasing any software update ! ( I presume an update has occurred as the watch was working fine for months until the other day ! )  Same old issues though , its like the S62 is a development tool for new techies to learn on !
