S62 Seems to add extra shots ???

Are you taking a divot with your practise swings? The watch doesn't normally pick up a practise swing (it detects the impact with the ball) but it can sometimes pick something up if you catch the ground during a practise swing.

Even if it does say four strokes you can correct the number before closing off the score.  You could also check the golf app after the round where it will show a visual of the round and that may give you an idea of where the extra shots are occurring.

If you don't have the CT10 sensors, I think this is a normal screen that shows once the watch decides you are on the green.  It threw me when I first used the watch but after reviewing my scorecard from a PC afterwards my score seemed fine.

Without the CT10 it gives you a total score for the hole assuming you will two putt.  I don't touch the screen at that point and complete my putts to hole out.  I then adjust the score shown for the total strokes I required for the hole, next screen I enter the actual number of putts I took, 3rd screen I enter any penalty shots that I may have incurred and finally I save the final score.

I think it would have been more natural to show separately, strokes to get onto the green and then putts required to hole out but the S62 uses a total for the hole with screens to show how many of those were putts and how many were penalties.
