Approach 62 not recording distances

I played a round of golf last week and although it recorded my scores as well how long the round took it did not record the distance I walked. I used the device today for a cycle and again recorded how long the cycle took but not the distance travelled. I have checked the manual and can’t see any solutions

While the watch is running the activity for walking/running, does the watch show the data fields filled in for pace, steps, distance? Are those fields blank?

Make sure your watch is running the latest software with Garmin Express.

If the watch is up to date and issues persist, please reset your watch.

Select Menu > Settings > System > Restore Defaults > Yes…

Do you mean your Activity wasn't tracked? In this case, walking.

If so, click middle button, settings, golf settings, scroll to "Record Activity". If not green, tap to turn on.

I find that turns off sometimes for now reason and sometimes after I sync the watch in Garmin Express.

Thanks for your reply, both activities were being tracked just no distance being recorded ( distance stays at 0.00 the entire time). Just checked the golf settings and record activity is in green.

I have been having the same issue over the last few weeks, tried the fix suggested online to re-sync the watch via the Garmin express app 3 times to no avail. Tracks my walking distance during a golf activity but not on a walk or run.

Yes, the pace changes and shows a pace but the distance stays at 0.00 and so do the steps but the timer continues to count the activity time.
