Garmin Connect vs. Garmin Golf app's smart notification settings: which one prevails?

Phone applications that can send notifications to the watch can be configured in both Garmin Connect App and Garmin Golf App.

Since changes made in either app don't seem to get automatically reflected in the other, I wonder which configuration prevails?

Your Garmin Connect Mobile APP will directly impact your Approach S62 smart notifications along with your smartphone's settings that also come into play. However, you must still have the Golf APP on your smartphone and you will always sync to the Golf APP first and then the Garmin Connect Mobile APP with how things were configured when the Golf APP was introduced.

Regarding your Golf APP notifications question, in the Golf APP under Settings > Notifications menu, the option only pertains to email notifications when you are invited to a tournament and the results.
