When any outdoor watch shows you how many messages you have but you cannot read them, it means you are not actively Bluetooth connected to your smartphone. Your watch does not physically store them on the watch itself to avoid memory use but your watch is aware of them and they will be readable and able to be cleared only when Bluetooth connected and seen by your smartphone and Golf APP.
