Hi yes I would like to add a feature so that we could manually name clubs to show up on the Garman app i.e. 7 wood, 9 Wood, 10 iron. Ie I would like it to showup on the hole review on the GOLF app as 7W…
I am hoping so. We need to keep adding interested customers to the ticket as they come in so that our engineering sees it as a high priority suggestion.
You can add me onto that ticket. I would like to add a 7 wood.
Over a Year later no development come on garmin
Over a year later and still no option to add what ever club we want come on garmin not that hard surely
Yes, 7 wood is one of the most popular clubs going in bags. It must be added asap.
I can't believe it's taken so long to correct this. Why are your engineers so intransigent? You're definitely not the most agile company on the planet. I've had MANY problems with this $500 watch and supports interest in those problems can be summed up with "crickets." Or possibly a long drawn out yawn. I wish I had this purchase to do over again... Not the least bit impressed with Garmin or the watch...
Is there a plan to add 5W, 7W, and AW options to the list of clubs available? Would also be nice to be able to modify the angles to suit our clubs. Looks like this has been on the backlog for some time - why not prioritized? I see Arccos offers a full range of club options.
Please add a ChipR. It's technically a wedge, but I already have 4 other wedges.
Hi, I'd also like to jump into this. I've gotten some new clubs and reassigned and noticed I can't select my 7 Wood nor can I choose an AW. Nicknames can only go so far based on how the system seems to break these down.
Hi
For AW it's designated as GW for Gap Wedge rather than approach wedge in the garmin golf app
You’re right - sort of. We can choose to use Gap Wedge - but if you carry say a 48 Approach and a 52 Gap you are forced to use the same choice with different nicknames. This doesn’t hamper the overall metrics catcher – the technician will still show up in the golf app and website – but it does limit the value of the virtual caddy on my S62 when I’m learning my clubs. And the point is that THE major sensor competitor offers far more options (we do get 6 different Hybrid choices!) (BTW - my original post mistakenly listed 5W as a missing choice when in fact it is there)
Yes, I have my clubs set in the system as what is closest while then updating the nickname, but it's less than ideal. I have an AW and a GW, so I have to choose 2 different GW options then go by the nickname, but that doesn't show up on the caddy option on the S62. I also have to choose 5W for my new 7w, which is again just obnoxious.
