Why do I have such a big difference in my Stableford results?

Hello,
First of all, I'm quite new to golf, maybe I'm just not savvy enough to see my mistake myself.

As you can see in the picture, I have the Garmin scorecard at the top.
Below is the digital scorecard from my golf club, both show 55 strokes distributed exactly on the right holes.

But both show me completely different Stableford results.

As far as I understand it, as a player from Europe I have to use Local Handicap because Index/Stroke does not work, which I have done, my handicap is 54 and I have also entered this in the clock.

Thanks for your help, this topic has been bugging me for several rounds, never got to the result of other Stableford sites.

Is that handicap correct? Your getting 3 shots on every hole? What are you using a snooker cue?

Where do you read Stableford in your Garmin Scorecard? I don't see that.

Did you set the scoring to Stableford?

Aaahh 46 vs 23 Stableford points. That's what you mean?

It seems your handicap in the watch is 108 instead of 54. You have 6 extra strokes per hole.

Actually this is HC 54 in Germany atleased.

This is the answer as best I can tell. I haven't used the Stableford scoring system on my watch so I have no experience with it. He gets a TON of strokes, shows he's honest at least..haha

It does seem that you are getting 6 shots per hole whereas with a handicap of 54 you should only get 3; is this a nine hole course or an 18 hole course? If it is a 9 hole course then a handicap index of 54 should equate to something in the region of a course handicap of 27.

Due to the way that the WHS system is implemented in the UK then you have to use local handicap and not Index/Stroke but in Germany you should be able to use Index/Stroke when entering handicap on the S62.

So basically the SI for the course on certain holes is different to the watch. So your getting extra/less shots where you shouldn’t be. Get the actual score card from the course and check it against the Garmin Watch.

I had it for weeks and basically garmin tell you to report the course though a link and they will amend it over the next update.
