Just bought the S62. My first golf watch.
Is it possible to either enter club distances manually or have Garmin enter the data rather than having to play 5 rounds?
If not, is this something that will be added to the app sometime soon?

Not 5 rounds. I was just wondering if there's a way to get rolling quicker with the virtual caddie. I'm an 8 handicap and know my distances pretty well so it'd be nice if it was possible to simply…
I agree this function should be available in addition to shot tracking on the s62 and the ct10 to allow you to fine tune what club garmin suggests, when you initially get the club recommendations working…
Why do you want to manually enter 5 rounds into the system? It kind of ruins the whole point of it since it tracks real shots be it good or bad.

I'm sure there are people who'd buy aa S62 and only play every couple of weeks or months. Long time before they can use the feature if it all needs to be done on the course.
Wait till you see what the virtual caddie recommends you. You’ll feel like you’re on the LPGA Tour firing him every few months.
That feature is a novelty at this point.
Lol yeah OK don't get my hopes up on that one. That makes sense I guess. Apart from long iron or 3w off the tee instead of driver i.e. full swings & not rocket science, I'm guessing it wouldn't be intelligent enough to give the best option when it comes to the plethora of scoring shots e.g. knock down, punch, etc.?
I’m currently a 17.0 index and I’m more likely to play at Augusta and Pine Valley in the same week than for any of that to happen.
I agree this function should be available in addition to shot tracking on the s62 and the ct10 to allow you to fine tune what club garmin suggests, when you initially get the club recommendations working it’s really good but you quickly identify that some of the recommendations are wrong as it’s recommending a club on distance alone not carry, being able to fine tune your club recommendations to take into account of this would make the caddy function sooo much better, and easier to get rid of rogue data, club recommendations rather than have to go through all your recorded games and correct manually in the hope the system would update the corrections and show a more realistic club suggestion.
