S62 backlight issue

For some reason when I woke this morning I’m having backlight issues when I receive text messages and go into any settings/play golf setting.
The watch face is fully working and I can navigate to look at previous rounds, heart rate etc.

Usually when I received a message it was easily readable but now it appears very dark until I press it and leave it a few seconds.

The watch is in immaculate condition, I’ve checked for updates and also tried a re-boot to no avail?

Anybody else had anything similar happen?

Check your backlight settings as likely that's your issue that it's set to dim or disabled (I assume that's a feature but I haven't tried). Either way go here and see if the fix is among these settings...

Press Menu, and select Settings > System > Backlight

Mine started doing this to a day ago - backlight is set to 100% and still dark. The slider colors on some items are not green anymore either. Need help!

I sent an email to Garmin Support on Saturday so I will keep you informed.

Im starting to believe it’s a software issue as it sounds as if our problems started at similar times. Hopefully they’ll just run some diagnostics and send updates and fix the issue.

My watch has just started working properly again. Unsure why?? Buts it’s fixed!!

I had this same issue. The "do not disturb" feature has to be turned off. Funny because I looked through other forums or threads and nothing was said about this. Not even from Garmin replies.
