Update: Watch materials causing rash

Not sure why my other thread was locked, but, I figured to be fair I should post an update here.  Wearing the watch looser definitely is the fix for me.  I'm not used to wearing a watch this loose, but, it does prevent the rash. I'm also not sure why I have never had this happen before, but, since I changed bands and it still occurred and it is going away while wearing it looser.  It is unlikely to be an issue with the watch itself.  Guess I'm just getting old.

  • I am sorry I locked your old thread. When there is a concrete answer, I lock that thread due to automated spam bots we are wrestling with and having to delete those replies. I am happy to hear your skin irritation issue was resolved.

For any other Garmin customer that reads this thread, if you experience skin irritation and cannot resolve it, always reach out to your nearest Garmin Golf Product Support team to report it. Thank you!

  • Hey Chris, thanks for the follow up and no worries about locking the other thread.  When I started that thread I really would not have thought that how tight you wear the watch would make such a difference, but, it absolutely was the issue.  My wrist was pretty covered in blotches and bumps off and on for months as I wore and then stopped wearing the watch.  But, after loosing it up I now have no rash at all.  I just wanted make sure that Garmin wasn't being blamed for something that was my fault.
