Garmin s62 swing tempo will not register

I have a driving net in my garage in which i desire to use the swing tempo app this winter.   Real golf ball on the tee which is registered by my swing caddie device but the garmin swing temp app does not register the shot consistently.   I have reset the watch only to have difficulty getting it to pair again.

as a lefty i wear the watch on my right arm, is this not correct? 

1) is there a quick fix to this question?

2). When it does register, do i need to clear or reset the app? Or does the next swing override the previous swing?

3). After about ten swings I look down and it has recorded a swing.  Which swing?, or is it an average?

This is my first smart watch, love the BP app, oxygen app and many others, but bought this foremost for the swing tempo app.  Could it be that i have not paired it correctly

  • I will be happy to assist further but I need to better understand. Are you talking about the Swing Tempo built into your Approach S62 or are you talking about a 3rd party APP that you added to your watch using Connect IQ? You mentioned issues getting it to pair again. I am not sure if you are referring to in general back to your smartphone or if you are using a 3rd party sensor etc that you are adding to your watch.

  • Thank you for your interest and patience. I have no third party applications not aware that was a possibility. Swing tempo came with the phone as one of the selections so to answer “swing tempo built into the watch”. Thank you. The pairing seemed to work. I learned that you cannot pair it to an iPhone and ipad at the same time. This was my bad

    Im also interested in see the swing tempo as its visible on the watch when adding a shot but then not visible anywhere.

    Hi I just got a new s62 CT10 Pack yesterday, and I have the same issue, iphone, app and watch totally updated, and the Swing Tempo does not register the movement, I just restored from factory and had the same issue, this is in Spain witch is EMEA  Region.
