S62

Just purchased the garmin s62 and have to say for the money i paid i’m very disappointed with it!

The wind data function doesn’t work and also fount the pin pointer to be all over the place as well any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as i’m beginning to regret paying that amount of money for something that isn’t doing what it’s supposed to!!

Please fully update your new Approach S62 software and courses using Garmin Express on your computer. As for the Wind, sync your watch with your Golf APP prior to your round of Golf then leave…

The pin pointer does take a bit of getting used to! I am currently trying using a T peg but its not easy I agree. Also people I play with say "stop fiddling with that watch and get on with your shot!"

The pin pointer on mine is like 180 degrees off eg if i’m walking toward the green the pin pointer on my watch is pointed in the direction of the tee box from where i came from it’s useless! But totally disappointed in the wind data not working at all!

Ah sorry I meant the distance to hazard or flag position thing that you move around. My Pin pointer works ok, I only use it when I cant see the green

Please fully update your new Approach S62 software and courses using Garmin Express on your computer. As for the Wind, sync your watch with your Golf APP prior to your round of Golf then leave the Golf APP open on your smartphone to receive the wind data to your watch. If your pin pointer is still backwards after the update, please return to the store as defective hardware.
